Altus Expands Its Roster

With the acquisition of CSI Coating Systems Inc., Altus Energy Services continues to expand the scope of services to accommodate the ever-changing needs of today's energy industry.

As a leader of internal pipe tank linings and external corrosion protection, CSI's expertise will compliment Altus' existing specialty coating division to make it the largest coating services application company in Alberta. 

This acquisition will help the company reduce its dependence on sub-contractors and effectively maximize the safety and efficiency of its operations. 

"CSI's additional infrastructure will enable us to match the pace of our construction group's growth and open up the opportunities to expand into new markets," said Fred Moore, Altus President.

CSI will help Altus diversify its service offering to include more facility work, specifically in a pipe coating and fireproofing capacity. 

Established in 2008 with the acquisition of Nusco, Nusco Manufacturing, Nusco Northern, Moe's Sandblasting & Coating, Eagle Crane and MEC McLennan Engineering, Altus Energy Services specializes in construction, engineering, manufacturing and coating services for the energy industry.
