Description:                 The project coordinator is responsible to organize all office aspects of shop tank, process, and field tank preparation projects. This includes the review and understanding of: estimates, contracts, scopes of work, cost budgets, schedules, drawings, and additional client requirements. This roll will require direct interaction between the shop foremen, quality control, safety, and the shop project manager. Communication with clients will occur daily.

 

 

Duties:                         Estimate the project costs per client drawings and scope of work and provide a formal quotation.

 

                                    Review Purchase Order to the original estimate and highlight changes. Estimates of any additional costs may be required.

 

                                    Prepare and Issue a Project Data Lists and Sales Order for internal use. Send weld procedures, ITP’s and additional client required information.

 

                                    Review drawings to ensure client scope of work and estimate match.

 

                                    Track project costs and adjust project budget as required

 

                                    Prepare and issue schedules, calculations, and line lists

                                   

                                    Responsible for preparing & pricing “change orders” for projects manufactured at the shop facility.

 

                                    Responsible for generating purchase orders and approving invoices for sub-contractor (s) providing a service on a project.

 

                                    A liaison with client and / or their representatives with sales, drafting, purchasing, quality control, shop and our coating division

 

                                    To keep current with codes and/or client specifications utilized in the fabrication of process/tank equipment.

 

                                    To determine cost of revisions to an original quotation as requested by the client.

 

                                    Responsible for the process, mechanical and structural design of production equipment including tanks, pressure vessels, lineheaters, inlet header systems, gas metering skids, inlet separators packages and piping systems.

                                   

                                    To keep current with codes and/or client specifications utilized in the fabrication of process/tank equipment.

 

 

 

Skills Required:           High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to organize

                                   

                                    Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

 

                                    Intermediate computer skills

 

                                    Exceptional time management skills

 

                                    A related technical degree

 

                                    Minimum 3 years of related experience
