Altus is dedicated to maintaining and protecting the health of our employees, contractors and customers. We have a fully staffed Safety Department to ensure all of our employees are thoroughly trained to identify and eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents or personal injury. By focusing on Responsibility, Accountability, Improvement and Leadership,  we will continue to lead the industry in workplace safety.
 
The four pillars of our program are:
  
RESPONSIBILITY – Each and every employee of Altus is responsible for the promotion of a safe and healthy worksite.
 
ACCOUNTABILITY – Each and every employee of Altus is accountable for the safety of themselves and their worksite.        
 
IMPROVEMENT – We will always strive to enhance and refine our safety programs.

Environment
 
Our commitment to promoting and maintaining environmental conservation is tied directly to our safety program. Focusing on safe operating procedures minimizes accidents that can potentially harm the environment. To further our environmental conservation efforts, we work closely with our clients and contractors to ensure that every job utilizes the most environmentally responsible products possible.
 
Altus will continually improve our conservation programs to promote good stewardship of natural resources and maintain the highest quality of life.
